Kerry Gets Ready | NJ Photographer | Bergen County

I was beyond excited to photograph Kerry and Patrick’s big day this past fall! So excited in fact, that I’ve decided to break this blog post into sections to savor the details. As you know the wedding day begins with getting ready. It’s a beautiful part of the day that most people don’t get to see; the lifting up of one woman by another (or several) who love her - it’s pretty incredible to witness. However, I have to admit documenting this was bittersweet for me. Watching Kerry and her sister reminded me of the morning my own sister helped me to get ready. There is a special bond that only sisters share, one I didn’t fully appreciate until I lost mine. So next time you see your sister, give her a big, tight hug! xoxo
